The next THRILL Summer School will take place from 7 to 13 June 2026 at the Darmstädter Haus in Hirschegg, Austria. The focus of the school will be on Applications of High Energy / High Power Lasers. PhDs and early career scientists are invited to register through the event website before 15 March 2026.

Lectures and hands-on sessions on the following topics will be included:

• Warm-dense matter research, magnetic field generation, dynamic compression of materials
• Secondary sources of particles and radiation for medical applications and high-field QED
• Inertial Fusion Energy
• Nuclear Photonics
• Laboratory Astrophysics

• 15th March 2026: applications close
• 1st April 2026: participants will be informed about successful application

If your institute is not a member of the THRILL consortium, a participation fee of €500,00 applies.
