We would like to invite you to participate in the 18th Kudowa Summer School “Towards Fusion Energy”, organized by the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion (IPPLM) in Kudowa-Zdrój, Poland, from 8–12 June 2026.

As you may be aware, the School aims to provide courses on various aspects of fusion energy, plasma experiments, and technology, with a particular emphasis on training students, post-doctoral and young researchers.

Topics include:

• Basic plasma physics and fusion energy
• Laser–plasma physics
• Magnetic and inertial confinement fusion (tokamaks, stellarators, Z-pinches)
• Proton boron fusion and applications
• Plasma diagnostics and technology
• Space plasma and electric propulsion

Important dates:

• 24 November — Start of registration
• 1 December — Abstract submission opens
• 16 March — Abstract submission deadline
• 23 March — Early registration deadline
• 20 April — Registration deadline
• 8 June — Start of the School
