The symposium will focus on advances in understanding of transition metal complex electronic structure, reactivity, and dynamic photophysical and photochemical processes. The emphasis will be on the use of advanced, operando, and time-resolved x-ray spectroscopies in combination with ultrafast optical methods. Both experimental and theoretical methods are invited.
