We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 8th “Photonics meets Biology” Summer School, which will take place in Spetses, Greece, from 3 to 7 August 2026.

The Summer School will bring together students and leading lecturers for an intensive and stimulating week of lectures, a poster session, a “Hot Topics” session with short talks, and networking activities, with a strong focus on photonics at the interface with biology. It will provide a unique opportunity to learn about the latest advances in the field, interact closely with internationally recognized experts, and engage with fellow young researchers.

We encourage students with interests in photonics, biophotonics, biomedical optics, and related areas to join us for this exciting event.

Further details regarding the scientific program, registration, logistics, and accommodation options will be shared shortly.

The school is partially supported by COST Action CA23125 (TETRA), which will provide financial support for a number of students.
