15th International Meeting on Atomic and Molecular Physics and Chemistry (IMAMPC)
The IMAMPC 2026 will take place at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Villigen, Switzerland, from 6 to 9 July 2026.
The conference continues its tradition of empowering young scientists and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations between atomic and molecular physics and chemistry. Since its inception, IMAMPC has been organized by and for early-career researchers.
Invited talks will be given by researchers who have completed their PhD within the past 10 years, while a select group of experienced scientists will offer Perspective Talks — forward-looking insights into emerging directions in the field, which will form the main topics of this year’s meeting.
IMAMPC 2026 will unite theorists and experimentalists, creating an inspiring space to explore new research directions and collaborations. We look forward to welcoming you to PSI for three days of engaging discussions and discovery in a stimulating scientific environment.
The main topics covered during this meeting will include:
- Ultrafast dynamics and Attosecond science
- Reactive collisions, scattering, ultracold chemistry and astrochemistry
- Macromolecules and biologically relevant systems
- Free electron laser and synchrotron science
