GEFAM Summer School on Atomic and Molecular Physics, July 27-31, 2026, Jarandilla de la Vera (Spain) (JUNE 1 DEADLINE)

Registration is open for the Spanish SUMMER SCHOOL ON ATOMIC AND MOLECULAR PHYSICS. The School is organized by the Group of Atomic and Molecular Physics (GEFAM) of the Spanish Royal Physics (RSEF) and Chemistry (RSEQ) societies and will take place the days July 27-31, 2026, at the Residence of the University of Extremadura in Jarandilla de la Vera (Spain). The School language will be English. A maximum number of 25 students will be accepted. The deadline for registration is June 1st.
The School will feature nine internationally recognized speakers presenting recent advances and emerging themes in thigh-resolution spectroscopy, astrochemistry, ultra-fast dynamics, strong-field Physics, reaction dynamics and molecular simulation. The confirmed speakers include:

Admission is accepted for Ph.D. students and young researchers. Students are welcome to participate with a flash presentation of their Ph.D. or research work. The cost of registration (320 euros for GEFAM—RSEF/RSEQ members or 420 euros for non-members) includes full boarding from Monday to Friday (accommodation and meal package including breakfast, coffee-break, lunch and dinner).
Jarandilla de la Vera is a small village located at a privileged natural environment on the Shire of la Vera. The region includes several picturesque towns  on the south side of the Sierra de Gredos, a mountain range in central Spain with peaks reaching up to 2,500 meters of altitude. Jarandilla de la Vera is accesible by bus from Madrid (around 200 km).
