OVERVIEW
While the biophysics community has developed a mature ecosystem of simulation tools and standardised workflows, the synthetic polymer simulation field remains comparatively underdeveloped in these areas. Conversely, methodological advances from the polymer community – particularly for glassy and out-of-equilibrium systems – have considerable untapped potential in biomolecular simulation contexts.
This workshop aims to bridge that gap. It will bring together researchers from both communities to exchange knowledge and work towards more reproducible simulation tools and protocols.
The programme will include dedicated sessions on system building, force fields, machine learning tools; a poster session and networking opportunities for early career researchers, and a one-day school on emerging software tools.
