Postdoctoral fellow position on AI for measurements, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan (Deadline: 01.02.2026)

Employment Term is From March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027
(Appointment may be renewed as every fiscal year in view of the circumstances and may be extended up to March 31, 2029).

High motivation to bridge AI and interdisciplinary fields such as chemistry, physics and biology is expected, rather than the applicant history in researches, who has some expertise in either of
mathematical & Information science, data-driven science, chemical physics, and biological physics. Some of the following researches will be carried out to promote integrated research in computational, information and experimental sciences.

(1) Efficient searching algorithm of knock-out gene sets for a targeted transcriptomic state by reinforcement learning
(2) AI for measurements: AI-intervening Raman microscope
(3) AI for measurements: acceleration of drug screening using animal model
