PhD position, Computational Molecular Modelling Research Assistant, UFE, Prague, Czechia (Deadline: 07.11.2025)

The role combines Linux/HPC system support with molecular dynamics (MD) workflows, and can be a pathway to a PhD for interested candidates.


What the role covers (high level):

Maintain our small cluster & workstations; install/configure Linux.
Manage scientific software for MD; support job submission/monitoring on local & remote HPC (e.g., SLURM/PBS).
Provide day-to-day technical support to the research team.

What we’re looking for:
BSc/MSc (completed or in progress) in CS, physics, chemistry, bioinformatics, or related.
Solid Linux skills; some HPC experience is welcome.
Familiarity with MD packages (GROMACS/AMBER/NAMD/CHARMM) is a plus.
