In the EU-funded project Lasers4EU, 29 leading laser research institutions across Europe provide access to state-of-the-art laser technologies and services from primary and secondary laser sources to a wide range of laser-based instruments and techniques. Lasers4EU offers unique research opportunities to scientists from academia and industry from all over the world. Users benefit from free transnational access to these laser research laboratories.
Access is provided
- to a large variety of inter-disciplinary research, from fundamental science to validating a practical application,
- free of charge, including travel and accommodation,
- on the basis of scientific excellence of a proposal, reviewed by an external and independent Selection Panel.
During transnational access, users receive full support from facility researchers to conduct their experiments efficiently.
The project encourages diversity in science, and particularly welcome new users and early-career researchers.
Young scientists can arrange a visit to the host laboratory before the access period begins to receive hands-on training (pre-project training) in using the equipment, experimental set-ups, data-acquisition systems and analysis methods.
To find a suitable laboratory for your specific research project, please browse the Access Search Tool: https://lasers4.eu/find-a-lab/
