The joint European XFEL and DESY Photon Science Users’ Meetings will take place from 26-30 January 2026.

The week schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday (27 Jan.): European XFEL plenary and poster session (mainly European XFEL related),
• Wednesday (28 Jan.): FLASH plenary session and a jointly organised plenary session FEL session, vendor exhibition and poster session (mainly FLASH),
• Thursday (29 Jan.): DESY Photon Science and PETRA III plenary, special session on PETRA IV, vendor exhibition and poster session (mainly PETRA III).

In addition, satellite meetings on different topics will be held from Monday to Friday and will be organised on the DESY and European XFEL campus, respectively. For exact locations and dates of the single events please consult the registration pages.

• European XFEL UOEC PhD poster prize
  The European XFEL User Organization Executive Committee awards PhD Poster prizes to posters presented at the European XFEL Users’ Meeting about exciting research performed with radiation from European XFEL.
• European XFEL Young Scientist Award (Reminder)
  European XFEL welcomes nominations for this award, recognizing outstanding contributions to research at European XFEL by scientists in the early stages of their careers.
