Postdoctoral position in ultrafast science at UC San Diego, La Jolla, California, USA
We have one postdoctoral position available in our lab (https://sites.google.com/ucsd.edu/yong/jobscontact), with an anticipated start date of June 2026 (can be adjusted), in the Department of Chemistry at UC San Diego. The initial appointment is for two years and may be renewed upon mutual agreement. The successful candidates will contribute to the development of novel ultrafast scattering and spectroscopy techniques to probe molecular dynamics.
Candidates must hold (or expect to receive) a PhD degree in Physical Chemistry, Chemical Physics, AMO Physics, or a closely related field. Expertise in ultrafast X-ray science, time-resolved laser spectroscopy and molecular dynamics is strongly encouraged.
