Experiment/Theory PhD/Postdoc positions in Quantum Technologies at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada (Deadline:15.01.2026)

UBC is pleased to announce multiple PhD and postdoctoral position opportunities in 2026 at the University of British Columbia in the field of quantum few- and many-body systems spanning experimental (groups of Valery Milner, Takamasa Momose, Ed Grant, and Kirk W. Madison) and theoretical efforts (groups of Roman Krems, Philip Stamp). Doctoral scholarships are valued at $40,000 per year for three years, and postdoctoral research awards at $70,000 per year for two years. These positions are supported by the recently launched Canada Impact+ Research Training Awards, and interested parties should reach out directly to the host group PIs by or before January 15, 2026.
