2 PhD positions in Physical Chemistry at Kiel University, Germany(Deadline: 30.11.2025)

two PhD positions available in my group Reaction Dynamics at Interfaces in the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel, Germany. The projects are:

“Structure and Reactivity of Catalytic Surfaces in the Pressure Gap” which will use molecular beam surface scattering combined with our unique Near-Ambient Pressure Velocity Map Imaging technique to study the kinetics and dynamics of catalytic surface reactions.

“Extending Near-Ambient Pressure Velocity Map Imaging to wet surfaces” which is predominantly an instrument development project which aims to extend the types of systems we can study with NAP-VMI.
