E-learning
Some of the Laserlab-Europe partner organisations have made course material available online, and users are invited to see whether this might be of interest to them.
Laserlab-Europe Talks
Since 2022, Laserlab-Europe organises a series of online events on a variety of topics (thematic or research-specific) of common interest, are providing a platform for regular information exchange and knowledge sharing on these skills and know-how. Interested scientists in the respective field, inside and outside the network, are invited to participate. The talks take place once a month on Wednesday afternoon at 16:00 CET on Zoom.
Check for upcoming Talks on our website or watch the recordings of past talks on the Laserlab-Europe YouTube channel.
Recurring Tutorials from Science@FELs
Fels of Europe has started a regular online tutorial series inviting distinguished scholars in the field. The tutorials introduce hot topics in the field of FEL science with larger depth than usually possible in conference talks. The tutorials usually are held on the first Monday of every other month. The tutorials usually are recorded.
>> Dates for 2023: 6 February, 3 April, 5 June, 4 September and 6 November.

Short Presentations
Instructional materials based on the Q-Chem/IQmol software. This page contains instructions how to use Q-Chem for teaching via the IQmol interface, links to tutorials, manuals, videos, as well as a selection of computational assignments that can be given to students as homework or in-class exercises. For low-volume users, Q-Chem offers a free service: such users can submit short Q-Chem jobs (up to 5 min) to the Q-Chem server without purchasing a license.
Centro de Láseres Pulsados, a series on the basics of pulsed lasers (in Spanish).
Wigner Research Centre for Physics, a series of presentations aimed to the general public (in Hungarian).
