PostDoc Time-resolved cryo EM, SciLifeLab, Sweden (Deadline: 31.03.2025)

SciLifeLab Sweden invite applications for a PostDoc to work within time-resolved cryo EM. The position will focus on setting up and being the first user of a microsecond time-resolved revitrification setup for time-resolved investigations of protein structural dynamics.

You will work in Marta Carroni’s group at Stockholm University and tightly collaborate with Westenhoff, Maia, and Maj (at Uppsala University) in establishing the method at the cryo EM site of SciLifeLab, and investigate protein structural dynamics as a first user with the new instrument.

We expect that you have excellent knowledge in laser instrumentation and enjoy building high-precision optical setups. Knowledge of optical microscopy, photochemistry, and structural biology, in particular in single-particle cryo EM and its analysis methods, are an advantage.
