Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical and Computational Quantum Dynamics

We invite applications for a postdoctoral position within a Czech Science Foundation funded project on ultrafast excitation and multi-exciton dynamics in molecular systems.

The position is open to candidates with a strong background in theoretical and/or computational physics or physical chemistry. The concrete research focus will be adapted to the expertise and interest of the successful candidate, within the broad scope of the project, which includes:

— open quantum systems
— exciton and multi-exciton dynamics
— non-linear and ultrafast spectroscopy (theory and modelling)
— quantum-chemical or effective-model approaches to excited states

Experience with scientific programming is expected, prior experience in one of the listed areas is required. The position is full-time, for up to three years (1+2), with competitive salary and research support. Starting date from April 2026 or later. The postdoctoral researcher will work in a close collaboration with both theoretical and experimental partners in an international environment.
