We are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in laser-plasma acceleration at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany.

The position is part of our project UCART and entails research and development of ultracompact particle accelerators for cancer therapies of the future.

The Institute for Accelerator Physics and Technology (IBPT) at KIT conducts research across a broad range of electron acceleration concepts, from large-scale accelerator infrastructures to compact laser-plasma accelerators. We develop and operate state-of-the-art accelerators and conduct research into innovative new approaches and next-generation technologies.

The position is fully funded for 2 years. Salary category 13 TV-L.
