PhD position in ultrafast dynamics of biomolecules in the gas-phase in Paris-Saclay, France in collaboration with DESY,Hamburg, Germany(Deadline: 15.09.26)
The Marie Curie COFUND LIGHT in PARIS project submitted by the Institute of Sciences for Light of the Paris-Saclay University has selected the thesis topic proposed by myself at the Institute of Molecular Science in Orsay and Sadia Bari at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron In Hamburg on “Light-induced Ultrafast dynamics in Metalloporphyrins: investigating Ionic and Neutral Species with Coincidence detection and X-ray probes”.
We are looking for a good candidate interested in this subject, with a strong background and interest in experimental molecular physics or chemistry, as well as with previous experience with several of the following fields: vacuum techniques, lasers, optics, electronics, time-of-flight spectrometers, electrons spectrometers, vaporization techniques, large radiation centers beamtimes.
Applications follow the rules of the Marie Curie program:
1) Candidates should not have been a resident in France for more than 12 months between 22 September 2023 and 21 September 2026.
2) A candidate must have a Master’s or equivalent degree OR have completed their academic cursus by 21 September 2026 and the official degree certificate acquired before the date of recruitment.
