PhD position in Chemical Physics - Department of Ion Phyiscs and Applied Physics, University of Innsbruck, Austria (Deadline:01.07.2026)

The main task of the PhD candidate is developing and building a cryogenic ion trap setup for ion spectroscopy, in particular photodissociation spectroscopy and leakout spectroscopy.
Desirable is some background in instrumentation, ideally mass spectrometry. Programming skills are also a plus.
