A PhD fellowship in the framework of the MSCA DN network TRILOGY : Ultrafast chirality for life and technology, https://trilogy-dn.eu/, is available in my group, Theoretical Physical Chemistry, at the University of Liège, Belgium.
Research activities
-Develop and apply theoretical approaches to laser–matter interactions involving ultrashort laser pulses
-Perform numerical simulations in molecular quantum dynamics and electronic structure
-Investigate electron dynamics in chiral and achiral molecules driven and probed by ultrafast chiral and non-chiral light fields
-Contribute to collaborative research within the interdisciplinary trilogy network
Required skills:
-Solid background in quantum mechanics
-Basic knowledge of molecular electronic structure
-Basic programming skills
Desirable skills:
-Knowledge of molecular quantum dynamics
-Understanding of light–matter interactions
-Interest in chirality
