Open Lecturer Position (Akademischer Rat) in Physical Chemistry at Paderborn University, Germany(Deadline: 12.07.26)
We are currently advertising an open Lecturer (Akademischer Rat) position in my research group at the Department of Chemistry at Paderborn University (https://chemie.uni-paderborn.de/en/), Germany. The position is a permanent appointment with civil-servant status in Germany, remunerated according to salary grade A13. The desired candidate profile should ideally combine a strong interest in university-level teaching at both B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels with a strong research-oriented profile.
The position is intended for a researcher with a strong background in time-resolved spectroscopy, ultrafast photochemistry, or related areas, and offers the opportunity to contribute to both teaching and research in the area of Physical Chemistry. The newly appointed lecturer will join my recently established research group DYNAMOS — Dynamics of Nanomaterials and Molecular Systems — which focuses on the experimental investigation of ultrafast molecular and nanoscale dynamics using advanced ultrafast X-ray and optical methods.
