SUMMARY:Lasers4EU Training Event: Women in Photonics
DESCRIPTION:The international workshop “Women in Photonics “ will be held from 1 to 5 June 2025 in Jena\, Germany. This event is organised by the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology\, a member of the Laserlab-Europe AISBL. \nThis year’s edition is organised with the support of Lasers4EU and 360Carla\, a project with which we closely collaborate.  \nWorkshop focus: \n\n Optical health technologies – diagnosis\, monitoring\, therapy\n Biomedical microscopy\, bio-analytical methods\, medical chip systems\n Biophotonics such as vibrational spectroscopy\, fluorescence\, OCT\, PAT\, etc.\n Laser based technology\n Photonic data science (AI\, deep learning\, machine learning)\n Optical engineering\n Fiber optics/fiber technology\n\nTargeted audience: \nThe workshop addresses female postdocs and PhD students working in these research areas\, who want to present their own work and build up new networks.
