SUMMARY:WavemiX 2026 and COST Action NEXT Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:WavemiX 2026 is the annual international workshop on ultrafast EUV/X-ray science and the NEXT (COST Action CA22148) Annual Meeting. The event will take place from 1 to 5 June 2026 in Prague\, Czechia. The 2026 edition will gather experimental and theoretical researchers working on- and with – free‑electron lasers (FELs) and high‑harmonic generation (HHG) sources to discuss the latest advances in non‑linear spectroscopies\, attosecond physics\, and ultrafast imaging. \nWe welcome contributions from academia\, large‑scale facilities\, and industry. Early‑career researchers are especially encouraged to participate. \nThe registration for the event is free of charge. \nScope & Topics \nThe workshop spans (but is not limited to): \n\nGeneration and control of few‑femtosecond to attosecond pulses (FEL/HHG)\nXUV/X-ray non‑linear phenomena and spectroscopy (pump–probe\, 2D\, four‑wave mixing)\nUltrafast electron dynamics in atoms\, molecules\, solids\, and quantum materials\nCoherent diffractive imaging\, ptychography\, and ultrafast microscopy\nBeam transport\, focusing\, adaptive optics\, structured beams\nSources\, diagnostics\, and metrology (timing tools\, waveform synthesis)\nNovel detection concepts\, data analysis and theory/simulation\nApplications in chemistry\, materials science\, nanoscience\, and bio‑systems\n\nThis event is organized under the framework of COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) and the NEXT Action by Extreme Light infrastructure ERIC and Czech Technical University in Prague.
