DESCRIPTION:Optics and Photonics Days (OPD) is an annual central event in Optics and Photonics in Finland and the largest yearly Photonics event in the Nordics. \nOPD2026 will be held 26. – 28. May 2026 in Jyväskylä\, Finland. \nOPD offers an unique opportunity to learn from interesting presentations from Academy and Industry program running in parallel\, network with companies\, students and researchers in the field of photonics and optics\, but also to explore products and services at OPD Exhibition that is held during the conference. \nAcademic program themes: \n\nSensing and imaging\nNovel photonic devices\nMaterials and processing\nFundamental photonics (classical and quantum)\n\nIndustry topics: \n\nPhotonics in Augmented Reality\nPICs & Quantum Photonics\nPhotonics for Dual-Use Applications\nOptical Measurements & AI for Industry\n\nAlso there is a lot of additional activities such as Networking Dinner\, Job Fair\, Student meeting\, PREIN Annual Event\, Photonics Finland annual meeting\, Panel discussions\, Media event and also Poster- and Pitch sessions.
