SUMMARY:NICE 2026 – Nonlinear Imaging and Coherent Effects
DESCRIPTION:NICE 2026 – Nonlinear Imaging and Coherent Effects will take place on 20–21 May 2026 at the ex-Stazione Ippica in Latisana (Ud)\, Italy. \nNICE 2026 brings together the linear and non-linear spectroscopy communities with the emerging field of coherent imaging\, with a focus on extending non-linear techniques into the sub-100 nm regime. By leveraging advanced light sources such as free-electron lasers and next-generation synchrotrons\, the workshop will explore new opportunities in intensity-dependent light–matter interactions and stimulate the development of innovative instrumentation. The meeting also aims to foster collaboration between experimental and theoretical approaches\, with particular emphasis on the active involvement of early-career researchers and their interaction with leading experts. \nCall for Abstracts – Updated Deadlines \n\nOral contributions: 21 April 2026 (notification by 1 May 2026)\, (EXTENDED)\nPoster contributions: 1 May 2026 (notification by 15 May 2026)\n\nAbstracts can be submitted during registration: https://indico.elettra.eu/event/57/registrations/40/ \nRegistration deadline: 1 May 2026 \nParticipation in NICE 2026 is free of charge. Selection will consider career stage/age\, country of origin (with priority to ITC countries)\, and gender balance.
