Τhe joint Laserlab-Europe & ReMade@ARI workshop will bring together members of the Laserlab-Europe and the ReMade@ARI consortia with expertise in applications of lasers and advanced materials in Clean Energy solutions spanning the chain of clean energy; from generation to storage and distribution.

The workshop will generate added value which will arise from the co-located presence and the stimulated discussions between experts from two important and complementary scientific sectors: (i) smart & advanced materials (fabrication, engineering, growth) and (ii) lasers (spectroscopy & processing)

Aim: The aim of this workshop is to facilitate bilateral discussion between members of the two consortia with the goal to establish new consortia for proposal preparation and funding acquisition. It will target funding calls and opportunities mainly for the year 2027.

Where and when: The final ReMade@ARI meeting will take place at Heraklion, Greece on November 12-13, 2026. The proposed joint workshop/meeting will take place at the same venue on November 11, i.e. one day before the ReMade@ARI meeting. Therefore, ReMade@ARI consortium partners may simply extend their stays by one day and thus we expect to have rich participation from the ReMAde@ARI consortium. This will in turn attract strong participation from interested Laserlab-Europe partners both in-person and remotely. The facilities at FORTH include an auditorium, several seminar rooms, restaurant/cantina and all facilities and services required for a successful meeting organization.
