DESCRIPTION:We would like to announce the second edition of the COST-COSY Training School ““Fundamental Insights to Weak Interactions: Interplay of Theory and Spectroscopic Experiments” (Iława\, Poland\, June 15–16\, 2026)  https://ts-weak-interactions.cost-cosy.eu/\n\nThere is NO registration fee for this Training School.\nThe 2026 edition “Confined astrochemical microenvironments – from gas to ice\, dust and planetary soils” will focus on the evolution of spectral signatures of prebiotic molecules: from gas phase to confined astrochemical environments such as interstellar ices\, grains\, and planetary soils\, by gradually increasing the size and complexity of studied molecular systems.\nIn addition to topics covered last year (https://ts-weak-interactions.cost-cosy.eu/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Abstracts_Book_COSY_TS_Poland.pdf)\n\n\nFundamental aspects of weak interactions·\n\n\nAnalysis of weak interactions by means of symmetry-adapted perturbation theory (SAPT)\n\n\n Modeling of multi-dimensional potential energy surfaces (PES)\n\n\n Analysis of fingerprints of weak interactions in the experimental Infrared spectra\n\n\n Simulation of Infrared spectra by Vibrational Perturbation approaches (VPT2)\n\n\nalso Prof. Halonen\, Prof. González-Lezana and Dr. Alessandrini will join us in-person at TS as guest lecturers.\n\nPlease find all details on the Web-site and note deadline EXTENDED till 9 April.
