Two research position Quantum Molecular Simulation Group, BEIT, Krakow, Poland

Two job openings for research positions in the Quantum Molecular Simulation Group at BEIT Inc., Krakow, Poland.

Position 1:
Quantum Physics Staff Researcher (Full-time, on-site, Krakow, Poland).
Candidates with a background in Molecular Physics, MCTDH and Tensor-Network methods, reactive scattering or light-matter interaction are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a team developing theoretical techniques for modelling chemical reactions using high-performance classical computing architectures and future fault-tolerant quantum computing devices. Proficiency in Python programming is required, and high-performance computing or experience with quantum algorithms is a plus. While the position is primarily intended for experienced post-doctoral researchers, industrial PhDs are also possible in my group.

Position 2: Quantum Chemist (Full-time on-site, or B2B contract or Hybrid model). The position is open to candidates with experience in Quantum Chemistry calculations. Candidates should have substantial experience in either high-accuracy small-molecule calculations (coupled-clusters, CASSCF, MRCI, FCI) or catalyst/complex molecule calculations (up to MP2, BW2). Experience in wavefunction-based method development is highly desirable. Familiarity with relativistic quantum chemistry calculations and packages is a plus. Proficiency in Python programming is required, and high-performance computing is a plus. A B2B contract or Hybrid model of work is acceptable for this position.

Our team is committed to publishing research results in open access, peer-reviewed Journals, alongside patenting innovative developments.

The positions are co-funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator Grant and are available immediately.
