Postdoctoral associate position Characterization of reaction intermediates using Synchrotron techniques, NYIT, NY, USA

Professor Giovanni Meloni is looking for a postdoctoral associate to advance our understanding of reaction intermediates through cutting-edge techniques. This role offers a unique opportunity to delve into the intricate details of chemical reactions mostly using multiplexed synchrotron photoionization mass spectrometry coupled with ab initio calculations. A highly motivated individual who has recently completed a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field is encouraged to apply. Knowledge of mass spectrometry and computational chemistry is preferable, as these will be integral to your research activities. Experience with synchrotron-based techniques is highly desirable but not mandatory; however, a willingness to engage with and learn these techniques is crucial.

Please submit your application, including a detailed CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and research interests to Professor Giovanni Meloni at gmeloni@nyit.edu. The position is for one year, potentially renewable for another year. Your contributions will play a vital role in advancing our understanding of chemical reactions at the most fundamental level.
