Posdoctoral positions Theoretical Chemistry, University of Toronto, Canada
Chemical Physics Theory Group, University of Toronto and National Research Council Canada.
Open postdoctoral positions in the research groups of Professors Paul Brumer and Artur Izmaylov at the University of Toronto, and of Dr. Michael Schuurman, National Research Council Canada. The groups are currently involved in theoretical and computational studies of a wide variety of processes and techniques aimed at understanding and controlling molecular processes. Postdoc positions joint between the University of Toronto and the National Research Council Canada as well as postdoc positions with the individual research groups are available for consideration. At present we seek applicants interested in developing computational algorithms for quantum and classical computers to model efficiently light-induced processes in molecular and open systems, as well as their application to both simple and complex systems. A familiarity with tensor train methodologies or quantum computing algorithms is likely to be advantageous. Candidates with a strong background in theoretical chemical physics, physical chemistry, or molecular physics are invited to apply.
